GAWD!! Man I miss the old days ... you know back when I could rant and rave, piss poeple off, get in "shouting matches", the Good Ole Days. I still believe there will be a black president before a women, at least I'm praying. Powell, I could vote for him but the Dems won't let him run, they threat'n his family with racial undertones and every one puts it off on us White Southerns. That really chaps ma hiden end. My Mother has worked three jobs for as long as I can remember, postal carrier, Ranch owner/operater and my Mother. She can shoot well enough to make a Marine Sharp Shooter blush with envy. It's amazing this place is still here. Almost depressing really. This must be what it's like to visit Pompei.

Well, dear old Vagabond is still alive. Finished my freshman year not long ago: two semesters on the Dean's List now, but I blew my perfect GPA last semester by getting a B in journalism (I hate gettings Bs even one one paper, much less for a whole class- I'm not a B student. I'm consoled by the fact that I had the ONLY B in the class though, and there were no As.)

On that note, I'm fixing to land my first non-labor job (though I've had some pretty respectable and well paid labor jobs) writing for the local paper. I'll be taking care of my need to get dirty and sweat a lot by buying a project car with part of that pay.

I've also been having a great time tutoring a few of the better looking students in my classes, and in the process met a Japanese girl who is well on her way to making me forget the ex I've mourned for so long.

Anyway, just catching up. How's everyone else?

OMG!! Dude I ain't seen you or should that be read a post from you in a coons age. For you Yankees, coon is short for raccoon. Any who ha, grats on the A's and job Vaga. Last time I was here no one posted to anything, truely and very dishearting. I loved this site, all the ideas and other things that passed through here.

I keep expecting to come back and find this place gone. Turns out that journalism prof fudged the policy to give me an A; I found out a couple weeks ago when I got my deans list notification... no unsightly decimals in my GPA .

I've gotten some decent writing done lately too courtesy of a workshop group at school. I may go ahead and submit it here when I've got enough of the novel put together... even though nobody likely reads our stuff anymore.
